Mrs. Brandy Getts is a happily married mother of five children and has worked in vocational Christian ministry for the past 9 years. During this time, she earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Summa Cum Laude) with specialization in behavioral health, theology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Brandy is an ordained minister in the state of Georgia eligible to provide pastoral care, counseling, and religious and sacerdotal services. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the American Counseling Association (ACA), the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC), and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC). Brandy is board-certified through the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) as a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor (BCPC), and a Board-Certified Biblical Counselor (BCBC). She is a Certified Christian Life Coach (CCLC) through the AACC. Additionally, Brandy holds program certifications in marriage coaching, healthy sexuality, caring for kid’s God’s way, extraordinary women, and crisis and trauma care: domestic and community response. Currently, Brandy is a marriage, couples, and family counselor in training as a graduate student in Regent University’s (Virginia) School of Psychology and Counseling.
Brandy retired from the Columbia County School System where she served the children and families of the community. She has experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and has a passion for those who suffer with traumatic stress and individual and family issues that come from public service.
Pastoral and biblical counseling is ideal for individuals, couples, and families who desire faith and evidence-based approaches to navigating life transitions, family and marital crisis, trauma and crisis intervention, pre-marital counseling and coaching, and religious/spiritual trauma.
