Drug and Alcohol Intervention – PTSD Interventions – Substance Abuse – Mental Health
Welcome to Life Management Group, where we specialize in Drug and Alcohol Intervention and PTSD Interventions helping addicts make a change and others take the first step towards overcoming depression, guilt, and regret.
Interventions are an effort made by the family and loved ones of the person in need (PIN) to assist them in getting the help needed to change behavior, usually substance abuse or addiction related. Hiring a trusted professional to help the family regain the parts of their lives that have been damaged by the PIN may not always be an easy choice, but it is often the right one. As professional, nationally certified interventionists, it is our goal to work with both the PIN and the family and loved ones to help get treatment where applicable, and help the family get back on track so that they can pick up the pieces.
Why Use A Professional?
Professional intervention services bring a skillset to the intervention that most families simply do not have on their own. Many well-meaning families have held their own versions of interventions and some have even succeeded, but more often than not, the addict or alcoholic who is at the center of the intervention only manages to say what the family wants to hear, get clean and sober for a little while, then go back to their old behaviors. As trained, certified professionals our interventionists have a unique perspective on addiction.
What Does a Professional Intervention Cost?
Generally, a professional intervention will cost anywhere from $5,000- $10,000 depending on the services provided. Our base price comes in a little below that at $2,500 and depending on needs and other services, will go higher. Other services include, but are not limited to: travel expenses, lodging, per diems, escort to treatment, legal and/or security when required, family care during and post treatment, and aftercare coordination. Your fee will guarantee you: 1)pre-intervention where the interventionist will meet with those who are to be part of the intervention minus the addict themselves; 2) planning phase will be done no more than two days prior to the intervention itself; 3) the actual intervention and; 4) a post intervention that will take place roughly five days prior to picking your loved one up from treatment so as to have discussions on what to expect and how to interact with your newly sober individual.
What Is Required to Start?
Many clients realize they need help, getting them to actually want help is what the intervention is designed to do, and there are many tools to get there. Remember that there is a lot of planning and behind the scenes work to be done before even the pre-intervention takes place, and that is one of the main reasons that it is a smart move to hire a professional.
